Important notice for all Event Hirers:
Please note that all groups hiring WPNEC for any 2011 events are to contact WPNEC at your earliest conveniance and send in booking forms to secure dates.
All events will be automatically rolled over from 2010 to 2011 but booking forms will be needed asap to secure a date in our quickly filling up 2011 calender.

Portable Dressage Arenas
The new policy for portable arenas is going to be: as of 1 July 2010, there will no longer be roped arenas used at WPNEC by any user (as per EV rulings).
It was pointed out that other organisations have not adopted this policy as part of their rules, however once a potential risk has been identified by one user group, WPNEC would leave itself liable if it did not enforce this across the board. Equestrian Victoria’s Dressage committee, have agreed to fund 2 suitable arenas and Macedon Ranges Dressage Club 1 arena. The use of these arenas would be charged out to hirers of the venue. Clubs who have donated an arena will not pay for the use of it but pay a set up fee to erect.

2010-2011 Price Changes (Effective from the 1st of July 2010)

As we are heading into a new financial year the Werribee Park NEC announce the following changes to the Booking Prices.
Please also note we have updated the Terms/Conditions and Risk Management. The list below outlines the major changes for the 2010-2011 season;
Consumer Price Index increase - This includes the increases of fuel, water and transportation costs.
Facility Fee per horse- This is $15 per horse per day.
Stabling - $30 per night. Barn Stables - $40 per night.
Caravans/containers annual fee - If you have a caravan or container stored at WPNEC you will be invoiced $1000 per year plus gst.

As per Venue Terms and Conditions
The hirer shall not sell or permit to be sold (including and without limitation) any goods, edible food, drinks or alcohol, on the Venue, except where prior written consent has been given by the Manager or Committee of Management on such Terms and Conditions as may apply from time to time.
The hirer, and competitors may not bring any alcohol into the indoor arenas unless purchased from the Friends of Werribee Bar located in Indoor One, this is due to liquor licensing laws.

Melbourne 3DE - Camping
This is to advise that WPNEC will not undertake bookings for casual caravans in the period June 9th to June 14th 2010 during the running of the Melbourne Three Day Event.
Only those caravans booked by competitors of the event will be accepted onsite. You will be able to confirm the status of eligibility for any booking enquiries you receive, by checking with the Equestrian Victoria office for a list of competitors closer to the date. EA National Show Horse Stable List
INDOOR HIRE
Please see below link for EA National Show Horse allocated times of use for Indoor Arenas 1 and 2. This is allocated times per state. Riders are to pay $20 per day for indoor use and must only use indoor at there allocated State times. Riders are to pay for use at WPNEC office and will receive a wristband, Riders not wearing wrist bands will not be allowed into arenas for private training prior to event. This only applies for Monday 30/11/2009 and Tuesday 1/12/2009.
The National Show Horse commitee will allocate times of use from Wednesday onwards.

2. Stabling will be allocated by the WPNEC office on the following criteria. The decision is final and no negotiations will be entered into.
□ Distance travelled to event
□ Date booking received
□ Number of nights booked
□ Stallions will be allocated a block and stabled together. Please note that stallions will not be stabled with the general population of horses.
3. Stabling is very limited, not all exhibitors will be offered stabling.
4. You may be issued Portable Stables.
5. You will be notified if you are successful in obtaining stabling.
6. No booking will be accepted without correct payment.
7. Please do not request more days than you require.
8. Please familiarize yourself with the stabling rules and regulations www.wpnec.com.au
9. Allocation of stables will be listed on www.wpnec.com.au closer to the event date.
10. Stables are available from 4.00pm on the first day paid for until 4.00pm on the last day. That is, stables booked for Thursday, Friday, Saturday are available from 4.00pm Thursday through to 4.00pm Sunday. Competitors MUST leave there stables by this time.

'Kelly' Dressage Arena Surface Upgrade
Due to constant improvements throughout the centre please note that the Kelly arena will not be in use from the 21st October until further notice due to a surface upgrade.

Stable Bedding
WPNEC only allows straw or shavings to be used in our stables, using any other material is prohibited and you will be fined a minimum of $50.00 per stable. Please note: This is due to the removal of bedding from the site, one of the most challenging area's to the maintenance of the venue.
Stable bedding can be purchased through the venue.

2009/2010 PRICE CHANGES (as of 1st July 2009)
As of the 1st July 2009 any users who have booked stables and who have not paid for stable cleaning prior to use, then leave stable unclean, will be fined and invoiced after event. The stable cleaning fine will increase to a $50 fine per stable as of this date.
You will still be able to book and pay for stable cleaning prior to event at $20 per stable.

WEEKEND STABLE BOOKINGS - PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!
Anyone making stable bookings after 3pm on Fridays for the weekends need to bring a copy of their reciept with them to WPNEC.
As there is no one in the office most weekends the only way for our produce and grounds staff to know you have booked a stable and feed/bedding is to produce your reciept.
Stable lists are printed and posted at 3pm on Friday each week so any bookings made after this time will not be on our lists.

Consumer Price Index increase of 3.3%- This includes the increases of fuel, water and transportation costs.
Facility Fee per horse- This is $11 per day and there will no longer be camping charges for staying at WPNEC. Powered sites will still be available. This charge is to be collected by the event organisers.
Reserved Yard Booking Fee- Yards at WPNEC are free however you can pay $10 to have your yard reserved. This can be done through the WPNEC office.
Caravans/containers annual fee- If you have a caravan or container stored at WPNEC you will be invoiced $1000 per year.
Photographers- Are arequired to provide the office with a copy of their public liability
ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE AT WPNEC
Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC) is a one of Australia’s largest Equestrian Centre’s centrally located in Victoria that accommodates every discipline of horse riding. The centre is steadily booked every weekend of the year and accommodates approximately 1,000 horses per month.
Annually, there are in excess of 200,000 visitors to the centre!
