Welcome to the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre (WPNEC), the home of the 2026 Australian Interschool Championships.

Located just 35 km from Melbourne CBD, WPNEC is Victoria's premier equestrian venue and one of Australia's largest equestrian facilities, featuring 181 permanent stables, 396 day yards, 375 campsites, two indoor arenas, multiple outdoor competition arenas and an international cross country course.

🔥 Campfires

Campfires are not permitted. Parks Victoria regulations are strictly enforced across the property.

💧 Water

Water taps are located throughout the property. However, water access cannot be guaranteed at an individual campsite or for exclusive use.

🍔 Uber Eats

Uber Eats deliveries can be made to the EV Office. The delivery point will be clearly signposted at the venue.

Stable and campsite bookings are managed by WPNEC

Details to note when Booking:

All Bookings are made online and payment is required at the time of booking.
Stable, campsite and yard allocations cannot be selected. These will be allocated by your state’s team manager.
Additional bedding can be purchased and added to your booking or during the event.
Refund cut-off period:
11th September

Please note: While we encourage team spirit and decorations, all decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the event and must not cause any damage to venue property.

Powered campsites are limited and the venue will be running generators for approximately 200 powered sites.
Our permanent powered sites are equipped with 15-amp power outlets.

The official bump-in day is Saturday 26 September. During the booking process, you will be able to select your preferred arrival time for this day.
Following the event, the venue will be undergoing pack-down and maintenance, with heavy machinery operating throughout the grounds. For safety reasons, all competitors, support crews and campers must vacate the property by Friday 2 October.
Please provide an accurate description of your vehicle during the booking process. This will help us allocate the most suitable campsite for your vehicle. We have a number of extra-long powered and unpowered sites available for larger trucks and horse transport vehicles.
No. We offer both powered and unpowered campsites. Powered sites are limited and must be selected during the booking process.
Yes. Generators are permitted; however, if you require mains power, powered campsites are available and can be selected during the booking process.
Yes. Dogs are welcome at the venue but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the Civinex Paddock (cross-country course) or inside the indoor arenas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and ensuring they remain under control and do not cause a disturbance to other competitors, horses or visitors.
Stable bedding will be supplied by Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre. We recommend a minimum of six bales of shavings per stable to provide adequate bedding, as stable floors are either cobblestone or concrete.
The nearest supermarkets are located in central Werribee, approximately 11 minutes from the venue. These include ALDI, Coles, Woolworths and FoodWorks.

Ampol (via the M1) – approximately 14 minutes from the venue.
The General Purpose Arena and the Civinex arena will be available for exercising horses throughout the event, unless otherwise advised by event officials.
