Looking for Riding Lessons?
Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre is a competition and event venue. We do not offer horse riding lessons, trail rides, horse hire, or leisure riding experiences, and we do not have horses available for the public.
If you're looking to learn to ride or get started in equestrian sport, we recommend contacting one of the local riding schools or equestrian clubs in the Werribee region. Many offer lessons for children, beginners, and riders of all experience levels, with school horses available.
Riding Clubs
Our venue is home to a number of equestrian clubs and organisations that host competitions, training days, and member activities throughout the year. Most clubs cater to riders who already own or lease a horse.

Our Venue’s Clubs
Werribee Pony Club (WPC)
Pony Club is an inclusive community that welcomes riders of all ages, from children to adults, whether they are new to riding or returning to the saddle. Many clubs offer 'Come & Try' rallies, giving you the opportunity to experience a rally while covering your insurance.
Join Werribee Pony Club to make new friends or enjoy a day of riding with current ones. A typical rally includes lessons in dressage, show jumping, cross country, games, and more. Pony Club also gives you the opportunity to do competitions and compete with other riders from other pony clubs.
All riders must have their own horse or pony to participate.

Werribee Central Equestrian Club (WCEC)
Werribee Central Equestrian Club caters for adult riders across all disciplines the HRCAV has to offer. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly atmosphere, excellent instructors and top-class facilities for our members.
The aim of our club is to have fun and enjoy our horses with like-minded people, whilst making new friends and promoting excellence within the equine industry.
